This thing is so awesome portable!
I own the challenger press, the six pack press and I also own this hand press. I use the six pack as much as the other two. The six pack is great for bulk and consistent ammo especially when set up and using all the other accessories with all the bells and whistles, I can not recommend the six pack enough if you have the room and money to spend. I started loading using this hand press and I still catch myself grabbing this and watching at show or movie and loading some rounds and it does it great too! My favorite thing to do is taking it to the range and reloading or adjusting bullet seatings and factory crimp and seeing what works the best and is the most accurate. This hand press should be in everyone's arsenal! it does many things great and some ppl use it just for one specific purpose some ppl use it only for decapping some use it just for priming I use it mostly for bullet seatting and expirementing with round pressures and ballistics I added the upgraded dial seatting top and I get really consistent and accurate rounds using it. It's also a great starter to see if reloading is for you. The fact this comes as a kit with the other items makes it a killer deal! Very it with some carbide dies and you'll never have any issues with stuck casings, my dad taught me to only ever buy the carbide dies and I have never had issues with waxing or lubing or not lubing rounds. This hand press will do it all! No need to buy unnecessary things although you will if you are starting out fresh but you live and learn and lee makes high quality reloading products for a very reasonable price and you won't regret it! Remember if Lee decided to make the part out of steel its because it was necessary if it wasn't is not. I have never broken anything made by lee and I'm tough on my stuff. Save money with lee they've been doing this four generations they know what they are doing.

Marvelous!
I'm a first time re-loader. I just received my Lee Hand Press Kit, which included the smart lock bushing feature and a die set for .38/.357. I also purchased Lee's Modern Reloading Manual, and I had a gas making cartridges tonight. I cranked out 100 .38 special cartridges, and it was relaxing and easy. Zen like.The instructions are thorough and easy to follow, and the finished cartridges all look "Primo". The press and dies performed flawlessly. I also picked up additional Lee die sets for .44 mag/spl and .45 ACP. Now, I know that this little beauty won't crank them out like a progressive press with all the bells and whistles, but you can sit and relax at your living room table, or anywhere for that matter, and crank out 50-100-150 rounds, if you so please. Why wouldn't ya? Can't wait to try out these thirty-eights! Lee Precision impresses, and this handy little hand press is..... "Marvelous", to coin a phrase from Mr Eastwood..

Perfect for travel
Work out of town for a living. Take this with me and find a range near me to load and shoot on my days off. Done over 1000 rd with it for my 500 wyo. Wish the beach lock had a lock on it so it dont move when i adjust my dies.

Hand Press
Have used this press for many reasons. I make different bullets and always test new loads for my use. It goes with me to the range and weekend camping. It’s handy and versatile and takes little space. The press, a die set, primers, powders, casings and bullets. The press and dies are good quality and the ease of taking my hand held reloading tools with me is a plus.
