Spline Drive Bushings

New, easy grip surface allows easy, accurate and fast die installation in your press. Reloading dies are confusingly similar looking, so we anodized and colored the bushings so you can "color code" your dies for quick positive identification. No need for lock rings on your dies with these quick-change bushings. Simply lightly tighten the clamp screw, and split collar will put a vise lock on your die. Loosen the screw, and the die will spin freely. Once set you'll never lose position.

They look so good and work so well, you'll want them for all your dies.

For even easier installation, a handy lock ring wrench is included with your Breech Lock Challenger Purchase. Works with Lee Spline drive lock rings and Breech lock bushings.

Humble yet capable press

I've got a lot of presses from Lee and almost everyone else.  Reloading tools are just part of my gun hobby not merely a means to an end.  I'm on my 2nd Reloader press and had mostly used it for case trimming or depriming.

I wanted to see how well the little Reloader press would do for each step of reloading .308 Win.  With properly lubed, fired brass, I resized with a Lee full-length die, turning 1/2 turn past contact with a Lee shell holder, trimmed/chamfered the cases with Lee's Deluxe Quick Trim and trim die, primed with Lee's Ram Prime, charged with powder and seated 155gr Nosler match bullets with Lee's seating die, also adjusted 1/2 turn past contact with shell holder.  Of the 10 "test" rounds loaded on this press, the run-out was between .000" and .002".  That's as good as I get with Foster bench rest dies on a Foster CoAx press.

If you lube your cases properly and setup your dies properly (by reading Lee's instructions), full-length resizing is easy and you won't damage the press.   For whatever reason, this press has better leverage than my RCBS Partner press which is its only competitor for compactness in a lightweight, bench mounted press.  This fine little press is an incredibly good value.
