44/40 Case Length Gauge & Shell Holder
Lee 44/40 Case Length Gauge is a precise, easy way to trim to length and square the case mouth. Use with the Deluxe Case Conditioning Kit, Case Conditioning Kit, or Cutter and Lock Stud.
Trim to length 1.285 to 1.305 inches.

Lee resizing lubricant is required with this die set.
Please note: Uberti has cut the shoulder in their weapons .050 shorter than SAAMI specs. Shorten resizing die head space .050".
If you find your reloaded .44-40 cartridges will not chamber in your Uberti weapons, it is not the dies. Uberti has decided to cut the .44-40 chambers to a standard other than SAAMI. The shoulder in the chamber is .050" closer to the breech face. If you return the resizing die to the factory, we will adjust it for you at no charge.
