Please note: For this caliber, the Classic Lee Loader full length resizes the cases. For best results, we recommend using brass that has been fired through your firearm only. If you are using mixed range brass, we recommend full length sizing with a reloading press and set of carbide reloading dies.

Flaring Tool is not included in this kit. Be sure to chamfer the inside of the case mouth so the bullet will start easily. The flaring tool can be ordered separately through this link.

Request to Reintroduce the 7.5×55 Swiss Lee Classic Loader & Add a 10mm Auto Version
5
Dear Lee Precision Team,

I’m writing as a long‑time Lee customer and a member of the reloading community to express strong interest in seeing two products added (or re‑added) to the Lee Classic Loader lineup:

1. The return of the 7.5×55 Swiss Lee Classic Loader
The original 7.5×55 Swiss Classic Loader — introduced in the early 2000s and discontinued around 2010–2012 — has become one of the most sought‑after discontinued Lee tools on the secondary market. As you likely know, the popularity of the Swiss K31 rifle has remained strong for over two decades, and with GP11 surplus no longer widely available, a large percentage of K31 owners now reload.

Because of this, the demand for simple, affordable, portable reloading tools for 7.5×55 has only increased. Used 7.5×55 Lee Loaders routinely sell for premium prices online, which shows there is still a healthy market for this caliber. Many of us would love to see this classic tool return.

2. A new Lee Classic Loader for 10mm Auto
10mm Auto has experienced a major resurgence in recent years. It is now widely used for:

- hunting
- backcountry carry
- defensive use
- high‑power handgun competition

This growth has created a strong demand for simple, entry‑level reloading tools for 10mm. A Classic Loader would be an ideal product for new reloaders, outdoorsmen, and shooters who want a compact, field‑ready reloading option.

Why this benefits Lee Precision
Reintroducing the 7.5×55 Swiss Loader and adding a 10mm Loader would:

- tap into two active, enthusiastic shooting communities
- fill gaps in the current Classic Loader lineup
- generate renewed interest in Lee’s heritage products
- strengthen Lee’s reputation for supporting both classic and modern calibers
- attract new reloaders who often start with a Classic Loader before upgrading to full presses

The Classic Loader is one of Lee’s most iconic products — simple, reliable, and uniquely accessible. Bringing back a beloved discontinued caliber and adding a high‑demand modern caliber would be a great way to honor that legacy while meeting today’s market needs.

Community support
Across forums, social media groups, and collector communities, there is consistent interest in both:

- a reissued 7.5×55 Swiss Classic Loader, and
- a new 10mm Auto Classic Loader.

Many of us would purchase these immediately, and we believe the broader community would strongly support their return.

Thank you for your time, your innovation, and your continued commitment to making reloading accessible to everyone. I hope you’ll consider these additions to the Classic Loader line.

Sincerely,
Frank

Thanks for writing us on adding the 7.5x55 and 10mm to our Lee Loader line-up. Due to declining sales, we won't be adding any new cartridges to the Lee Loader line.

If you are looking for a portable reloading setup, I would suggest our Lee Breech Lock Hand Press and a set of dies, or one of our Handloader kits. They come in a nice portable storage case that can be slid into a backpack for on-the-go reloading. Check out our offerings here:

Lee classic a must have!

Bought my first reloader (reloading kit) around 1982/83. I used it for mu new Ruger Blackhawk. I could sit on the floor and watch my favorite TV detectives, and with my wife on the couch(sofa) I could load a  plastic cartridge container,  with individual holes for your bullets. I did learn a few lessons
(A) I really wish Lee would extend the line of cartridges for that setup?
(B) IMPORTANT. Whatever the manual you use, stick to it precisely! If it ain't on the sheet, then don't shoot. You'll get a sheet of powders and bullets with pressure and other information in the kit, that goes with with the provided scoop. Until you are a PRO, stick with the sheet.

My cousin, still trapped in frigid Saskatchewan, uses his older (1990s?) Lee Loader for his WW2 M98 Mauser. No amount of trade offers has tempted him to part with it. I used it to load up 2 boxes of O/F brass for him on my last visit. Would relish getting one for my 8mm here in Florida. Any possibilities?

I enjoy using this simple kit

This kit is my 1st experience into reloading. I bought the Lee's 38 Special kit at a local gun store. It took me an hour to make four bullets but after that the next six were made in 20 minutes. Shot them an hr later with great results. Would highly recommend it for 1st time reloaders. Learned alot about reloading with with this simple but inexpensive kit

The Classic LEE Loader was my first exposure to reloading. I was reloading .243 round after round. That was 15 year ago and I still use it. It is great, I can use it at the kitchen table and then put it back in the little box and set the table for dinner. I have had no issues. Admittedly I reloading for a Ruger Number 1 RSI. It's a breech loader, so I need to make each shot count. So far they have! Shortly after I got it I Bagged my first buck with a round I reloaded!
