USIZE DECAPPER APP/ACP

For the past 2 years I have been using an APP as a deprimer of several different calibers. During that time I have spent more on replacement decapper pins than I originally paid for the entire APP system.  I just ordered another ten pins today.  The nemesis of these pins are crimped small pistol and rifle primers.  These pins breeze through most uncrimped primers but I just finished depriming 1,000 223/556 casings and broke three pins.  Overall I am delighted with my APP but do wish Lee would make a harder pin for use on crimped brass.

these pins work pretty well but I think the metal is a little soft, bends too easily.  I go easy on them but crimped primers can make things difficult for them.  When they are working with the deprimer kit it makes for a very quick process.
