Lee 6.5 Creedmoor Peak Alloy Micrometer Full Length Die Set includes a Full Length Sizing Die, Neck Sizing Die, Universal Flaring Die, Micrometer Bullet Seating Die, Universal Shell Holder, Powder Dipper and instructions with load data. Select this die set if you are reloading new or fired steel casings.
Use the full length sizer on factory new or mixed range cases, this will resize the entire case so it will reliably chamber in your firearm.. Use the neck sizer on cases fired through your firearm. The neck sizer reshapes only the neck of a previously fired case. A steel collet presses the case neck against a precision mandrel, helping keep the neck centered and reducing run-out. Because only the neck is sized, no case lubricant is needed. Benefits are improved consistency and accuracy, along with longer case life.
Special note: steel cases require substantial effort to full length resize. Be sure you’re using ample, high performance case lubricant like our Lee Resizing Lubricant. When sizing, once the effort becomes extreme, remove the case and redistribute the lubricant, re-insert the case and size to completion.
If you will be reloading for hunting, or your firearm magazine limits the overall length and prevents your bullet from touching the rifling, we recommend restoring accuracy with the accessory Lee Factory Crimp die.
