I love how they cast the MADE IN USA stamp on the rear beam of this third iteration. It gives a sense of pride in ownership to me. I have quite a few presses and these BL challengers are amongst my favorites. I like to put them on a benchplate mounted to a portable board with powder measure so it's portable as they're not too heavy or bulky. I have large heavy presses, but rarely use them. Anyone that says a heavy swaging press will load more concentric ammo than a lighter press doesn't know how to adjust their dies! if you adjust them exactly the same for different presses the results will of course be different. You have to adjust the dies for the press you're using rather than generic adjustments. I was concerned about losing the BL lock pin, but it's not a problem at all. I also love how they moved the priming arm to the users left and put the priming bracket mount up front. The straight through primer disposal is a huge plus as is the ergonomic lever. This is the best version of this press and the best deal on the market today for a lifetime American made reloading investment. I'd love to see a red white and blue version of it... to roughly quote Richard Lee "it'd sell like beer at a ballgame in July!"
